Airbyte is the open‑source standard for data movement. We've enabled data teams to move data from applications, APIs, unstructured sources and databases to data warehouses, lakes, and AI applications. With tens of thousands of connectors built and hundreds of thousands of companies adopting Airbyte, we've proven the economics of data integration at scale. And now Airbyte is building the frontier agentic data infrastructure, purpose-built for AI agents that need fast, accurate access to data across hundreds of sources. Our mission: make data available and actionable, everywhere.
We've raised $181M from the world's top investors (Benchmark, Accel, Altimeter, Coatue, Y Combinator, etc.) and we believe in product-led growth, where we build something awesome that all our users love. We’ve raised enough capital to explore boldly, but we still choose to move quickly, stay scrappy, and experiment constantly as we find the right paths in an AI-native landscape.
The Role:
As an Airbyte Solutions Architect, you will have a unique opportunity to elevate your career and make an immediate impact in the rapidly growing data infrastructure sector. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to support both sales and post-sales efforts, driving improved qualification, faster deal cycles, and higher levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Joining us at this stage means you’ll be on the ground floor of a rapidly expanding Series B startup, with significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Guide customers throughout their customer journey by leveraging your technical expertise and stepping in with hands-on support when needed.
Design and implement AI-powered data pipeline architectures using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack to enable intelligent data workflows for enterprise customers.
Advise customers on integrating LLM-based tooling into their existing data infrastructure alongside Airbyte connectors.
Client Engagement
Work directly with clients’ technical teams to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Managing technical success by collaborating with Airbyte’s technical support, Product, and Engineering teams to address issues and deliver new features.
Help clients evaluate and adopt AI agent frameworks to build autonomous data agents that leverage Airbyte as a data source.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Collaborate with Sales to identify and drive potential growth opportunities with customers.
Act as the internal source of truth for customer technical requirements, expectations, and needed functionalities.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to surface customer needs, influencing the roadmap.
Advocacy and Evangelism
Demonstrate the use and best practices of Airbyte’s offering to clients and at industry events.
Serve as a brand ambassador promoting the organization’s mission and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Evangelize best practices for building AI-ready data stacks.
Create and deliver technical content (blog posts, demos, conference talks) showcasing how Airbyte enables modern AI architectures.
What You’ll Need:
4+ years of experience in a customer facing technical role, such as resident solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consulting role.
2+ years of experience in a startup environment, ideally in modern data infrastructure, including cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses or related fields (startup implementation experience is a bonus).
