NORTHAM Account Executive
As a member of the NORTHAM go-to-market team, you will evangelize the Ascend Data Automation Platform, helping identify the perfect prospective customers and working to help those businesses accelerate with Ascend. Your goal is simple, create as many new raving fans as you can! You’ll need to build the business by understanding the market opportunity where Ascend has the best chance of winning and own sales cycles to increase new customers and ARR.

Outcomes You’ll Drive:
Increase pipeline generation Increase logo acquisition and accelerate revenue
Work with partners to accelerate new customers and customer success
What you'll do:
Build pipeline to increase logo acquisition and accelerate ARR
Manage the end-to-end sales process to meet or exceed revenue goals
Effectively demo and pitch Ascend to multiple stakeholders in prospective accounts
Work with teammates and prospects to develop success criteria and use cases for managed trials. Drive those trials through to closing the deal
Create multiple touchpoints within prospective customer accounts - establishing relationships with economic buyers, champions, data engineers, data analysts and infrastructure teams within prospective accounts.Create close plans, articulate those plans and execute key tactical steps for all dealsCreate quarterly forecasts against established targets and contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales cadence meetingsAccurately forecast monthly and quarterly logo acquisition and manage a tight pipeline
Collaborate with colleagues in other functions as part of our team selling approach
What we look for:
4+ years of field sales experience in technology / software industry
6+ years of overall sales experience
A business owner. You think holistically about your business and have a proven track record of excellence in sales where you have exceeded quota, accelerated close rates, and generated growth
Startup sales experience is highly desirable.
Experience w/ MEDDPICC preferred.Proven track record selling to mid-market or Enterprise at $30-150k+ ACVs.
Successful track record working on complex sales cycles (multiple stakeholders and lines of business, complicated decision process and criteria).
Superior communication skills (both for internal and external clients), positive attitude, empathy, and high energy.Self-starter with the desire to wear many hats.
You own business outcomes in a fast-paced startup environment.Experience in selling SaaS, PaaS and enterprise cloud applications.
Specific experience selling data solutions is a plus.
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $180,000 - $270,000 USD, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
