We are looking for a Senior Training Program Manager to partner with our Training, Learning, and Content team on this exciting journey.
In this role, you will
- Manage Small Portfolio:
- Manage a portfolio of up to 3 concurrent programs within a specific Business Unit (BU).
- Manage stakeholders effectively and proactively engage cross-functional partners when challenges occur, resolving cross-functional issues without needing manager intervention.
- Design & Develop Training Content that is engaging, accessible, and effective.
- Manage Curriculum and Program Execution including the timelines and logistics
- Maintain a centralized curriculum map that tracks the full learner journey.
- Keep content current and consistently updated as tools, workflows, and vehicles evolve
- Coordinate knowledge capture with field teams to proactively update and improve content
- Drive Process Quality:
- Establish and enforce best practices to ensure content quality and consistency.
- Build and maintain content templates, style guides, and instructional standards
- Implement feedback loops from learners, facilitators, and SMEs
- Use evaluation data (surveys, performance metrics, audits) to improve curriculum over time
- Own BU Outcomes:
- Partner with other teams to align training with business goals
- Proactively manage the success of the entire program portfolio.
- Make data-informed trade-offs that optimize for the Business Unit's value and actively anticipates organizational needs.
- Publish content, track completions, and report on metrics
- Model Reflection & Resourcefulness:
- Routinely conduct self-reflection and document lessons learned from the program portfolio to proactively identify and propose solutions for systemic process improvements to management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years managing instructional design, curriculum development, or training project management specifically in safety-critical or high-stakes operational environments.
- Technical Acumen: Deep familiarity with adult learning principles, learning technologies (e.g., LMS platforms), and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
- Model Trustworthiness: Governs Integrity. Grounds influence in a commitment to safety and ethical standards. Is accountable to all project deadlines and follows through on commitments.
- Commit to Decisions: Communicates Rationale. Communicates key functional decisions (e.g., content changes) with full commitment and clear explanation of the why to stakeholders within their BU.
- Champion Inclusion: Models Self-Correction. Actively seeks feedback from stakeholders to identify where program design may unintentionally exclude groups and adapts the solution accordingly.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills, organized, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple programs
- Communication: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and translating technical content into digestible learning
Desirable Qualifications
- PMP or other Project Management credential
- CPTM or other Training Management credential
- Prior experience in transportation, aviation, autonomous vehicles, or high tech industries preferred
