We’re searching for a Lead Financial System. This role is a strategic partner to Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. You will lead the administration, customization, and optimization of NetSuite and other financial systems across multiple process areas, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the finance technology stack.
In this role you will
- Serve as the lead and owner for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, providing IT General Control (ITGC) documentation, gathering and presenting audit evidence, and coordinating IT Automated Control (ITAC) walkthroughs with both internal and external auditors.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of NetSuite, including user roles and permissions, system configurations, and issue resolution, and enhance and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems such as Workday and Coupa.
- Lead the design and technical development of custom solutions in NetSuite, in partnership with product and engineering, to optimize commercial operations, billing, and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced reporting, and system improvements to drive efficiency and scalability, and lead the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new system features, upgrades, and third-party integrations.
- Partner with stakeholders across accounting, finance, procurement, and supply chain to define evolving system requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience building and supporting finance systems in a global organization, particularly with NetSuite, Coupa, and Workday Expense.
- 7+ years of experience in SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, and Javascript.
- Strong understanding of business processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Acquire-to-Retire, and Design-to-Build and Warehouse Management.
- Proven ability to deliver complex customized solutions within the NetSuite Platform using SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and SuiteScripts.
- Experience working for a public company with strong knowledge of IT related controls required for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
- NetSuite Certified Administrator.
Desirable qualifications
- NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer
- NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant
- Familiarity with financial planning tools such as Pigment, Adaptive, Anaplan.
- Experience with AI-driven tools or automation platforms.
- Experience working in a logistics and transportation industry.
- Experience with NetSuite Projects.
- Understanding of Cost Accounting.
The base salary range for this position is $154,000 - $223,000 per Year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
