The People & Culture Team Coordinator will be responsible for helping create a positive work environment for our teams. In this creative and hands-on role you will assist with administrative and operational tasks towards the smooth running of the office and several employee experience initiatives. These are the experiences and programs that help reward, recognize and celebrate our team members, and that help make Cellanome a wonderful place to work! Reporting into the People Team, this is a part-time role (24 hours per week) with some flexibility on exact schedule (onsite 4 days a week).
Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinate several employee recognition programs such as our Values Awards, Service Awards, and Spot Bonuses.
- Coordinate employee snack and food programs including break room food, monthly lunches, evening meals and happy hours. This includes proactively managing and maintaining office snacks and essential supplies by regularly monitoring inventory levels, shopping for needed items, and restocking to ensure a well-stocked and organized workplace.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office service vendors, including Canteen, Bevi, Shred-It, and others, ensuring timely deliveries, service quality, and resolution of any issues.
- Collaborate closely with janitorial and facilities staff to maintain and replenish general office items, ensuring restrooms, common areas, meeting rooms, and workspaces are clean, well-stocked, and fully functional.
- Assist in day-to-day people operations by supporting administrative needs, organizing office events, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all office visitors and candidates, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
- Ability to work part-time (24 hours per week) and be onsite at the Foster City office four days per week.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs for approximately 15% of typical working day
- Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 75% of a typical working day.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HR coordination, office management, events, or another people-focused administrative role.
- Passion for creating great employee experiences and helping others feel supported and connected.
- Strong service mindset – approachable, proactive, and eager to go the extra mile for the team.
- Highly organized and resourceful, with a knack for keeping things running smoothly and anticipating needs before they arise.
- Collaborative communicator who enjoys working across teams.

- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar.
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Rippling, Culture Amp, Greenhouse, or similar platforms)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
The estimated hourly rate for this position is $38.00 - $44.00/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
