Role Description As a Product Marketing Engineer at Cosmon, Inc., you will translate complex AI-driven engineering solutions into clear value propositions and technical narratives for customers and internal teams. You will collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales to define positioning, create technical marketing collateral, support product launches, and gather market feedback to inform roadmap decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing demos and presentations, analyzing competitive offerings, enabling sales with technical content, and engaging with potential and existing customers to understand their engineering challenges. You will also participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and supporting strategic partnerships. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Francisco, CA.
Qualifications
- Strong technical marketing skills, including the ability to explain complex engineering AI solutions in accessible, customer-focused language.
- Experience in product marketing, product management or closely related roles, with skills in defining product requirements, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- B2B SaaS experience,
- Work experience as a mechanical engineer with the ability to understand and discuss technical product details.
- Sales and business development skills, including building relationships with customers, supporting sales cycles, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating technical collateral such as white papers, case studies, and presentations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Familiarity with CAE, CAD, PLM, or AI/ML applications in engineering is highly beneficial.
