Product Marketing Lead The Mission

At Cosmon, we aren't just building technology; we're building a new standard, and we're building it as a partner in the ecosystem rather than an island within it. We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead who lives at the intersection of storytelling and technical proof. Your mission is to build unwavering trust and a sense of urgency through world-class copy, rigorous positioning, and data-driven proof points.

You will own the message and the written word and visual story for Cosmon, from the first time a lead lands on our site to the moment a champion inside a Fortune 500 organization needs the right assets to get a deal through procurement, security review, and an executive committee.

This is a function-owner role, not a content queue. You will help set positioning, own the sales narrative, build the systems that turn happy customers into public proof, and lay the foundation for how Cosmon markets alongside its partners.

Core Responsibilities
  • Positioning & Messaging: Own Cosmon's positioning and messaging architecture from day one. Define how we describe ourselves relative to the status quo and, critically, how we articulate our place in a broader ecosystem - where we integrate, where we complement, and where we are better together. Keep that story consistent across every surface and every function.
  • Sales Assets & the Message: Own the sales assets and the message and the master slide deck used across all functions. You own the final form, the evolution, and the performance of every asset in the kit.
  • Enterprise Deal Support: Build and own the material the Fortune 500 buying cycle demands: collateral to address high-level concerns regarding security and compliance documentation, frequently asked questions, and executive business cases.
  • Customer Story & Reference Program: Own not just the writing of customer stories but the machine that produces them. Build the process for identifying strong accounts early, working with sales to secure reference and logo rights at contract time rather than retroactively, tiering references by how they can be used, and keeping them fresh. Partner with Sales and Product to translate complex technical wins into narratives, and templatize the format so proof arrives steadily rather than sporadically.
  • Co-Marketing & Partner Enablement: Build the foundation for how Cosmon markets with its partners: partner kits, joint solution briefs, co-branded case studies, and joint webinars. You'll own the machinery and the message; partner relationships themselves sit with our CEO, Growth Lead, and Sales Leader.
  • Enablement Layer for Deployment: Partner with our Solutions Engineer, who owns technical deployment and implementation documentation, to build the value, narrative, and enablement + training material that surrounds it, so every enterprise rollout tells a consistent story.
  • Content, Social & Thought Leadership: Maintain a consistent heartbeat in the market. Own the editorial standard and strategy for deep-dive content, the newsletter, and our LinkedIn presence: the company page outright, plus ghostwriting and editorial support for executive and founder channels. Lead our webinar program end-to-end: topic, narrative, delivery, and follow-through, including joint sessions with partners.
Who You'll Work With
  • Sales Leader: You own the assets and the message; they own pipeline targets.
  • Growth Lead: Your closest partner on the go-to-market story. They own growth strategy and the demand engine; you own positioning, the message, and the assets that carry it.
  • Solutions Engineer: They own hands-on technical deployment and implementation documentation; you own the value, narrative, and enablement layer around it.
  • Product & Engineering: Your source of technical truth and proof points.
  • Partners: You build the co-marketing machinery; relationship ownership sits with company leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Full-Stack Writer: 7+ years in product marketing, preferably in a technical B2B SaaS environment. You can sit with an engineer to understand a complex feature and then explain it to a C-level executive in a way that feels essential.
  • Enterprise SaaS Go-to-Market Experience: You have taken SaaS products to market with enterprise buyers and know what that cycle actually requires: security reviews, procurement, many stakeholders, and long timelines. You understand what sales needs from marketing in a six-figure, twelve-month deal.
  • Demonstrated Technical Fluency with a Hard Engineering Audience: You have earned credibility with deeply technical engineers and can navigate real technical nuance without hand-holding. A background in mechanical engineering is one strong path to this, as is any other engineering discipline, a technical adjacent role, or a track record of marketing to engineers at this depth. We will assess this directly, not by credential.
  • Proof-Obsessed: You believe that "show, don't tell" is the only way to win. You are an owner who doesn't just write. You own the final form and the performance of every word.
  • Bonus: Hybrid PLG + Enterprise Motion: Experience in a company running self-serve or product-led adoption alongside an enterprise sales motion is a strong plus. Holding one message across both audiences without diluting either is a specific skill, and it's one we need.

At Cosmon, we value clarity and accuracy over jargon and evidence over hype. If you're ready to define the voice of a next-generation platform, we want to hear from you.

Cosmon is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate every applicant on merit and don't discriminate on any protected basis.
