FULL TIME · REMOTE
With the rise of the decentralized web and NFTs, we're on the precipice of a new age of online expression founded upon digital ownership. At Gallery, we're building the next platform for self-expression on the internet — one based on the things we collect and own.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Gallery is looking for an engineer to join our team to build product from the ground up. Specifically someone who is talented in React, has design experience, and can take a product from idea to execution. You are obsessed with having a pixel perfect design, and make sure that the designs are translating into the frontend. You care about iterating quickly to test hypotheses and build practical software, in a way that’s maintainable and well tested.
As an early member, you'll have a large say in the future of the product and can shape the company culture and direct product strategy and execution, which will have a significant impact on the greater NFT & crypto ecosystem. Additionally you'll get exposure to the top NFT projects, collectors, and artists.
WHO WE ARE
Our team has experience building and scaling consumer-facing and crypto software at some of the most influential organizations including Apple, Airbnb, Coinbase, and Clover. We're driven to build a platform that plays a pivotal role in supporting and pushing forward the entire NFT community. We love creating products that are elegant, beautiful, and evoke delight in our users.
We are a remote-first company and have team members in LA, NYC, and Tokyo. We leverage best practices from companies like Gitlab. We coordinate off-sites for the team to get together every quarter.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build out frontend application using React, interacting with the backend and smart contracts
Deliver & own features and projects from beginning to end.
Potential for rapid iteration of frontend prototypes and designs
Style our application to an exceptional standard using designs provided by our product designer
Ensure code quality and software reliability through automated test implementations, UI/UX testing, and processes
Spend time with designers in Figma helping architect and design components
Inject your energy and perspective into every product meeting, standup, and interaction, both within the team and around Gallery's broader community
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
Experience shipping module and testable applications using modern software architecture techniques
Attitude of continuous improvement
Good communication skills, keen on coordinating with (and developing where appropriate) other remote developers
Excited to encourage transparency and engage with best practices
If this is you, please reach out to email@example.com.
