You will architect and own proactive automation efforts for high-impact IT workflows, including user lifecycle management, RBAC, and SaaS lifecycle management. This role demands an owner-mindset, deep technical competence, and a commitment to designing resilient, secure, and scalable internal systems. You will be part of the Business Technology - Corporate Engineering team and report to the Director of Business Technology.

Where you will work:

  • Lead internal development projects using Retool (or similar tools like N8N, Budibase, AppSmith) to deliver bespoke, scalable internal tooling
  • Contribute to Garner's high-compliance security posture by building workflows that enforce least-privilege access, auditability, and data protection (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2)
  • Develop clear process maps (e.g., BPMN) to clarify system flows and align stakeholders on future-state system designs
  • Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk escalations within your areas of expertise

What you will bring to the team:

  • Senior competence in a similar role, with 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise IT, business systems, or internal tools engineering, particularly in a high-compliance environment
  • Advanced hands-on experience with modern low-code platforms (e.g., Retool, Okta Workflows) and APIs to build custom integrations and applications
  • Deep proficiency in Identity & Access Management (Okta, Azure AD/Entra) and Endpoint Management platforms (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Google Advanced MDM); Okta Consultant certification preferred
  • A proven systems thinker who can break down and re-architect complex, cross-functional workflows
  • Experience in ITIL processes and service management (FreshService or similar ITSM tools)
  • Proficiency with scripting/automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to manage systems at scale
  • The ability to translate ambiguous and complex requests into well-defined objectives and deliverables
