Position Overview:

HeyGen is seeking a founding Sales Assist Representative to join our growing sales team. As one of the first members of this team, you will be instrumental in helping to define processes and discover and share best practices.

You will be many prospects’ first interaction with HeyGen, responsible for ensuring that they understand the value of our solution. You’ll deliver product information, answer questions, field objections, and ensure that your prospects are on their best path to becoming a successful HeyGen customer.

The right person will be energized by the opportunity to grow our customer base while also building programs, testing new approaches and collecting insights as we scale. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Support team members to serve prospects and customers while improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via chat and email in a timely and prescriptive manner
  • Close high velocity transactional deals via email with a customer-centric and efficient mindset
  • Qualify opportunities and loop in additional stakeholders for more complex sales cycles.
  • Identify common business problems customers are trying to solve with HeyGen and position solutions.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Support team members to surface relevant customer insights and feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience and an interest in pursuing full-cycle sales, customer success, or sales operations
  • Excellent communication & prioritization skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of prospects and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize patterns and common business problems to suggest solutions.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Excited about quickly-evolving AI technology and the impact it will have on the future of work and content creation.
  • Must be able to work out of our San Francisco office
