Kalshi is defining a new category

Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.

Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.

Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.

Building a new category is hard… like really hard. But it’s beautiful and deeply fulfilling. Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.

Role Roadmap

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Events & Brand Experience Associate (or Events & Swag Curator) to design and execute moments that feel as distinctively Kalshi as our product. You’ll own events, swag, and brand activations that bring our culture to life and make every touchpoint with Kalshi memorable.

In this role, you’ll blend imagination with execution, building experiences that range from large-scale conferences to intimate dinners, while sourcing merchandise that people actually want to use. You’ll manage logistics, vendors, and budgets, but also spot cultural trends and translate them into bold, on-brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Execution
    • Concept, plan, and execute events of all sizes — from launch parties and conferences to internal team gatherings.
    • Manage logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships to deliver seamless experiences.
    • Ensure each event feels uniquely Kalshi, with thoughtful details that leave a lasting impression.
  • Merchandise & Swag
    • Design and source branded merchandise that is useful, memorable, and culturally relevant.
    • Partner with creative vendors to bring unexpected ideas to life (e.g., live embroidery, limited-edition drops, unique packaging).
    • Maintain brand consistency across all physical touchpoints.
  • Creative & Cultural Alignment
    • Track cultural trends and identify opportunities for Kalshi to show up in unexpected, impactful ways.
    • Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, and People teams to align events and swag with broader company initiatives.
    • Act as a tastemaker, ensuring that all brand experiences feel fresh, relevant, and high-quality.
  • Process & Operations
    • Build scalable playbooks for event planning and swag sourcing.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
    • Track ROI on events and brand activations to inform future strategy.

Qualifications

  • 0–4 years of experience in events, brand, marketing, or a related creative field.
  • If you demonstrate strong abilities or ideas in relevant areas, we will consider you even without direct experience.
  • A proven eye for design, detail, and cultural relevance.
  • Strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple activations at once without dropping the details.
  • Resourceful and inventive — you know how to find the best venues, vendors, and ideas even on a tight timeline.
  • A builder’s mindset: you thrive on creating processes that scale and experiences that feel unforgettable.

We understand not everyone will have all of the requirements above, so if you don’t check every box but feel your experience is relevant and you’re excited about what we’re building, we encourage you to apply.

These are the primary responsibilities of the role — but as a startup, there’s always more to get done. We value ownership, initiative, and curiosity. There’s a lot of green field to conquer, and we trust you’ll make a lot of it your own.

Our Culture

Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. We are committed to our vision of building something big… but also useful: a product that brings more truth through the power of markets.

Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1.

Commitment to Equal Opportunity

Kalshi is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe it is our collective responsibility to uphold these values and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to join us in our mission. All qualified applicants will be treated with respect and receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, uniform service, veteran status, age, or any other protected characteristic per federal, state, or local law. If you are passionate about what you do and want to use your talents to support our mission and values, we’d love to hear from you.
