About the company
Kodex revolutionizes how organizations handle sensitive subpoenas and data requests from law enforcement and government agencies. Founded by a former FBI agent and backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and Thiel Capital, Kodex has become the industry standard for secure data exchange. Our platform supports over 15,000 government agencies in 190 countries and is trusted by industry leaders like Coinbase, Stripe, and AT&T.

By transforming a traditionally complex and manual process into a streamlined digital workflow, Kodex helps organizations strengthen compliance, enhance security, and reduce operational costs by millions each year. We bridge the gap between companies and authorized requestors, ensuring that sensitive data is handled with uncompromising security, transparency, and efficiency.

The Role

Kodex is hiring a Threat Intelligence Specialist to support lawful, time-sensitive requests from global law enforcement agencies during GMT hours. You’ll act as a frontline point of contact — managing inbound requests, triaging sensitive casework, and ensuring accurate documentation within our operational framework.

This is a high-trust, mission-driven role that supports public safety at scale. You’ll collaborate with teams across legal, product, and operations, contributing to the systems and workflows that power secure data sharing between companies and global authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management – Triage and respond to incoming law enforcement and legal requests with urgency and accuracy.

  • Information Analysis – Investigate, validate, and log sensitive data in compliance with internal SOPs and regional laws.

  • Global Collaboration – Communicate across time zones and legal jurisdictions with clarity and professionalism.

  • Operational Support – Contribute to our global coverage playbook and knowledge base.

  • Reporting – Support documentation and intelligence reviews used for audits and internal decision-making.

  • Prioritization – Manage EMEA-centered workload and assist global operations when capacity allows.

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking under time pressure

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently across global teams

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) fluency

Nice to have

  • Experience with legal, law enforcement, or regulatory stakeholders

  • Familiarity with GDPR or international data governance

  • Experience in 24/7 or follow-the-sun operations

  • Fluency in at least one non-English language commonly used in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa (including but not limited to French, German, Italian, Polish, Arabic, or Turkish)

Benefits

  • Remote-first within Ireland (Dublin-based preferred)

  • Occupational pension scheme with employer contributions

  • Statutory paid annual leave and public holidays

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Biannual offsites in exciting locations (past trips include Seattle, Miami, Nashville, and San Francisco)

  • Global impact that comes from being part of a team that facilitates critical operations for law enforcement worldwide

  • Dynamic environment defines this role, with work on impactful, high-priority matters and opportunities for professional growth
