The Commercial Strategy Lead will have a critical role that bridges strategy, sales, and execution to drive the success of our commercial efforts. This role will articulate Memora’s value proposition to prospects, partners, and clients, while incorporating market insights into client-facing deliverables and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, a client-centric approach, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization. Additionally, the Commercial Strategy Lead will work closely with all roles across the Commercial team, spending a majority of time partnering with Memora’s Go-to-Market team. This role will give applicants the exposure to the full operations of a GTM function with the opportunity to own execution across the function. Ideal candidates will be driven by the tough problems we are solving, and by the innovative approach and technology that we are applying to healthcare - and, looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery. We’re looking for someone with exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm for solving hard problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Connect market trends with challenges heard from Memora’s prospects, and incorporate into client-facing presentations delivered to c-suites of Health Systems, Health Plans, and Digital Health organizations
  • Tight project management of complex enterprise partnerships and the internal lift necessary to engage with a prospect across every level of the organization
  • Support client meetings with Commercial teams and take ownership of building the business case, and accompanying client-facing deliverables, for prospects and partners
  • Conduct targeted deep dives on specific accounts and build a highly specific account playbook based on a comprehensive analysis of quantitative and qualitative data on the target account
  • Drive deliverables, ranging from follow-ups to client discussions to market research analyses to, where applicable, proposals inclusive of ROI models
  • Engage in the sales process, alongside all go-to-market teams, and highlight opportunities and focus areas for each prospect while also helping to determine the necessary next steps post client discussions
  • Work cross-functionally between the commercial and product teams to build an execution and delivery strategy around the needs heard from prospects and partners

Qualifications (Required):

  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare strategy and operations, with a preference towards experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare strategy, and/or private equity
  • Experience being client-facing
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to healthcare payment models and operating structures with the ability to analyze upcoming policies and regulations, financial statements, operating data, and market trends
  • Ability to assume ownership for making all deliverables, points of communication, etc. client-facing and client-ready
  • Data driven with an ability to visualize data in an articulate, compelling, and digestible format

Qualifications (Bonus):

  • Salesforce knowledge a plus or the ability to become proficient quickly

This position requires candidates to be based in New York, NY or San Francisco Bay Area.

Memora is committed to the principle of pay equity and regularly assesses compensation across our U.S. work locations resulting in a standard pay range, typically updated each year. The applicable base pay will depend on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties and responsibilities, and relevant experience and skills. Certain roles have the opportunity to participate in revenue- or utilization-based sales incentives, depending on the terms of the compensation plan and the employee's role.
Remote- U.S. Pay Range
$130,000$170,000 USD
