You'll be joining an experienced team that includes founders who have successfully built and sold startups before. About the role

We are looking for our first full-cycle Technical Recruiter to join our People team! To start, you will partner directly with our Engineering org to grow out the Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and Data teams. You will be critical to ensuring that we have the right talent for our business success and will report directly to the Head of Talent & People.

Minimum Requirement

  • 4+ years of full-cycle experience recruiting generalist and specialist engineers
  • In-house recruiting experience at fast-paced tech startup environment with the ability to wear many recruiting hats, as needed
  • You put candidate experience at the forefront of everything you do
  • Excellent ability to understand motivations and closing skills
  • Resourceful in using creative tools to identify and attract highly in-demand talent at all levels
  • Strong understanding of the technical landscape and able to speak eloquently about software development
  • The ability to be a trusted strategic recruiting partner to our managers and senior leaders
  • Track and analyze metrics and report on hiring progress to business leadership on a regular cadence
  • Help initiate creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills

Bonus Points

  • Experience technical recruiting at a IaaS, PaaS, or Dev tools company
  • Experience with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn
  • 1-2 years of technical recruiting experience within an agency

Examples of Tasks You Might Work On

  • Partnering with Engineering Managers to kickoff new roles and processes
  • Driving referral engagement and starting up creative sourcing strategies
  • Improving our current interview and recruiting process in partnership with Engineering

  • Directly responsible for building a flywheel for our engineering recruiting
  • Maintaining a high talent bar in our largest organization

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $175,000. In addition to your base salary, Metronome offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched equity, sales incentive pay (for eligible roles), comprehensive health benefits, and other benefits listed below.

The actual base salary will vary based on factors including market value, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process, and previous experience. The listed range above should serve as a guideline and may be modified at any time.

We believe that compensation reflects the expected impact you will have at the company, relative to the market value of your role. We also conduct an annual pay audit to ensure pay is fair, indexed to market value, and that pay takes into account continued performance at Metronome.
