This role builds most of what ships on our next engagement: a private-equity-backed call analytics company with thousands of recorded conversations a day. A Senior Forward Deployed Engineer sets direction. You make it real inside the client's environment.

• Fully remote, US-based. Lunon is headquartered in New York City.

• Some travel to client sites, a few days at a time, fully covered.

What you'll do

• Build the speech and text pipelines, LLM workflows, and integrations the client runs on.

• Deploy to the client's cloud, instrument what you ship, and fix what breaks.

• Write the tests, evals, and docs that keep it working after the engagement ends.

• Learn the client's business fast, and say so early when the plan meets reality.

What you'll need

Experience matters here. We judge it by what you've shipped and kept running, not by a number of years.

• You've shipped something with LLMs in it that people actually used.

• You've worked inside a codebase you didn't write.

• You can show the work: a repo, a demo, or a write-up.

• You use AI coding tools every day and judge the result by the system and its output, not the language.

• You can travel to client sites and are authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

Apply even if none of these are true.

• You've built with speech-to-text, conversation analytics, or large volumes of unstructured text.

• You've integrated with a CRM, a telephony platform, or a data warehouse.

• You've shipped a side project to real users and kept it alive.
