About This Opportunity:
Mosaic’s technology team is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to support this growth. In this role, you will use an open source technology stack to build an industry-first suite of construction management applications, services and tools working in collaboration with senior engineers, product managers, test engineers, product designers and product stakeholders. These technologies are a critical component to Mosaic's growing differentiation in construction operations. In this role, you will also build and maintain Mosaic’s company websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive frontend development on the system built with TypeScript, Next, React, Tailwind, and tRPC.
  • Maintain the appropriate balance of reusability and performance in frontend implementations
  • Architect and maintain the core UI components that enable our growing ecosystem of construction management tools and applications
  • Mentor junior engineering team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent technical experience5+ years of experience in frontend engineering: TypeScript, Next, React, CSS, and Tailwind
  • Ability to recognize and contribute to high-quality product design, including experience in building websites that require a high degree of polish (e.g. publishing)Experience working in an Agile team and understanding of Agile processes
  • Track record of working autonomously and being comfortable with ambiguity, particularly in a fast-paced environment like a startup
  • Nice to have - Experience in the construction management and operation space
  • Need to be proficient in English
Company work-environment philosophy: Mosaic is a flex-first work environment, meaning some of the roles are worked primarily on a remote basis with some visibility to the corporate offices while others are worked physically in the corporate office or other such assigned in-person physical hub with some flexibility for occasional remote. These schedules are pre-designed and physical workspaces pre-determined based specifically on the position and visibility needs.
