Front End/Web Engineer

• Core Goal: Use the next generation of browser technologies to create a collaborative and data-intensive environment for interacting with and editing massive unstructured datasets.

• Responsibilities

  • Engineer and extend Nomic’s web products, especially our flagship data interaction product Atlas

  • Implement and prototype new features in our NextJS web stack in collaboration with designers and data scientists

• Ideal candidates have experience in NextJS, React, typescript, web standards, and css. Experience with data visualization is strongly preferred. Experience with the frontiers of browser performance technologies including wasm, webGPU, and webGL is a plus.
