San Francisco, United States; Full-time
Disciplined thinking: We take a principled approach to decision-making by working backward from our goals. With every important decision, we communicate why this drives the biggest impact on the business & customers.
Be entrepreneurial: We are self-starters who take risks. We take ownership and prioritize delivering impact over the process. We have a bias for action, and pitch in when needed to achieve the team’s goals.
Seek learning: We are more interested in learning and growing than being right. This means that we own and learn from mistakes openly, and recognize that each person’s perspective is valuable.
Communicate with candor: We trust each other to say what's on our minds when it's in the best interest of the company, even if it is uncomfortable. We share relevant information with the team, even if it's worrisome.
Create the infrastructure that make NFTs accessible and useful for everyone
As an early engineer at Paper, you’ll define the new standard for merchants to on-ramp and provide real benefits for NFTs to their audience. You’ll build developer-facing tools (SDKs, APIs, webapps) that are simple yet powerful to address the rapidly growing needs of our customers. As more brands and creators look towards NFTs to build a direct relationship to their fanbase, you’ll also build web3-friendly products for buyers (wallets, social features, integrating token-gating to other products) that truly focus on the utility that NFTs offer.
We’re a nimble team that operates on trust and autonomy instead of process to maximize business impact. We’re looking for others with an entrepreneurial spirit that are excited by navigating challenges in uncharted spaces, directly collaborating with customers, and shipping features in days, not quarters!
