PostHog provides an open-source platform for product analytics, combining tools such as event tracking, session replay, surveys, error monitoring, and feature flag management into a unified system. It enables teams to deploy feature flags with multivariate options, scheduled releases, early access control, and cross-project syncing, while integrating playback and analytics for testing and rollout validation. The platform supports running A/B experiments, collecting qualitative feedback via surveys, and tracking errors alongside data pipelines and data warehouse connectors. It also offers lightweight AI-powered assistance and observability features tailored to product and development workflows. This toolkit is organized under a cohesive product OS that emphasizes open development practices, transparency of roadmap, and community contributions.
