We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Finance to join Replit's growing team in Foster City, CA. As a leading AI software development platform, Replit is transforming how millions of developers build, collaborate, and deploy software. In this critical role, you'll lead our Strategic Finance team to support current vertical markets and evaluate new opportunities, while partnering with executive leadership and the Board to align financial strategies with our ambitious growth objectives and drive data-driven decision making across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead Strategic Finance team supporting vertical markets and new market evaluation
Develop, maintain, and present complex financial models, business cases, and investment theses for growth initiatives, M&A targets, joint ventures, and capital projects
Partner cross-functionally with executive team and Board to align financial strategies with business objectives
Establish pricing and business models for new products and datasets to achieve revenue and margin goals
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize asset allocation, investment decisions, and operational efficiency
Create a global expansion strategy related to but not limited to localized pricing, use of crypto, and local entity formation
Prepare board materials and presentations for quarterly meetings; support investor relations activities
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product and Engineering on financial analysis for pricing, unit economics, product launches, and partnerships
Assist with infrastructure and compute strategy, including debt financing and capital markets partnerships
Design pricing and packaging models and surveys
Collaborate on forecasting, financial planning, long-range planning, and overall financial strategy
Instill ROI-based decision making and capital allocation thinking across the business
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance, including 2+ years in strategic finance
Experience leading a high-visibility finance team
Expert-level financial modeling skills and proficiency with business intelligence tools
Strong presence and communication skills; proven collaboration with C-suite and board directors
Exceptional business judgment with ability to synthesize data into strategic insights and drive capital allocation decisions
Experience implementing forecasting/reporting systems and modernizing financial tools
Self-directed with strong work ethic; ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
