We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join Replit's growing team in Foster City, CA. As a leading AI software development platform, Replit is transforming how millions of developers build, collaborate, and deploy software. In this key role, you'll support both operational and strategic finance functions, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and provide data-driven insights that help steer the business toward our financial goals.
What You'll Do
Support financial planning, budgeting and analysis processes across the organization
Handle operational finance including daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis
Maintain and optimize our planning software (Abacum) to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business metrics and performance indicators
Monitor and analyze cloud costs, product metrics, and financial/operating metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities
Prepare clear and compelling presentations for various stakeholders including executive leadership
Support Strategic Finance team on pricing and packaging analysis and recommendations
Assist with ad hoc strategic projects including M&A analysis and investor reporting activities
Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate product performance and cloud compute efficiency
Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze and optimize cloud compute costs, driving infrastructure efficiency improvements
Build strong relationships with Operations, Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to align financial strategies with business objectives
Provide analytical support and insights to help teams make data-driven decisions that advance our financial goals
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in finance, financial analysis, or related analytical roles, including 2 years at an Investment Banking or Venture Capital firm
SQL and/or Python for data analysis and automation
Strong financial modeling skills with experience building complex models
Experience with financial planning software and business intelligence tools
Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and translate data into actionable insights
Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Marketing
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
