Lab testing is the key to a more personalized and holistic approach to medicine, and Rupa is paving the way with critical infrastructure for this next generation of healthcare. Through Rupa, practitioners can order specialty testing, such as DNA testing, microbiome testing, advanced fertility and hormone testing, blood labs, and more.
This comprehensive and personalized approach to healthcare is the missing piece for the millions of people suffering from complex, chronic health conditions. Rather than band-aid solutions, practitioners utilize our platform to understand, diagnose, and treat the root cause of people’s health issues through testing. The team comes from Stanford, Wharton, Y Combinator, Parsley Health, Lululemon, Everlywell, Equinox, One Medical, and more. We each have very personal reasons for wanting to transform this space. We’ve experienced firsthand the impact personalized medicine can have and are committed to this cause.

👀 A “day in the life” includes:
Our Account Managers act as the primary point of contact for our lab partners! Responsible for building extremely strong relationships with the labs on our platform. Making sure they are happy with Rupa, and acting as the “glue” as our team interacts with the labs.
The day to day role involves helping create marketing plans to promote each lab, meeting with new lab contacts to develop an army of internal champions, working cross functionally with our product + operations team to integrate with the labs and help Rupa build key features (that rely on these relationships).
In addition, this role will be responsible for helping us identify & bring on new labs we want to add to the platform!

- [Relationships] A+ relationship & partnership skills, you have the ability to create deep meaningful relationships both in person + remotely with key partners
- [Sales] 3-5+ years experience in a sales role where you were directly responsible for convincing customers to buy something
- [Communication] Excellent communication ability - able to work cross functionally with a Product & Operations team
- [Learning] Loves to learn - able to dive into the world of lab testing and understand the differences between a DUTCH Complete, a GI-MAP, an Organic Acids, and all of our top ~20 tests
- [Strategic] Must be able to employ design thinking to help our team integrate with the labs, juggle multiple “asks” and priorities, and help design operationally effective systems
- Bonus points if you are a practitioner within the functional / integrative medicine industry and have direct experience working with lab tests
Compensation: Salary starts at $60k and comes with full benefits including health insurance, flexible PTO, company offsite, 401k, & more.
