Responsibilities include:

Design and development of mechanical systems:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for machinery, equipment and industrial systems
• Use assisted design software to create 3D models and perform simulation analysis

Strength and materials analysis:

• Perform structural strength and fatigue analysis to ensure the integrity and durability of the components
• Select suitable materials and perform material testing to ensure suitability and performance

Mechanical engineering project management:

• Plan and coordinate projects from conception to implementation, ensuring compliance with objectives, deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage resources to achieve efficient and high-quality results

Storage and Refrigeration Systems Design:

• Design heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems for residential, commercial and industrial applications
• Perform thermal load calculations, equipment selection and design of ducts and conduits

Automation and process control:

• Implement automation and control systems to improve efficiency and precision in the operation of machinery and industrial processes
• Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and motion control systems to optimize performance

Equipment maintenance and optimization:

• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to guarantee the operability and reliability of the equipment
• Perform failure analysis and design improvements to optimize performance and reduce downtime

Quality and regulatory management:

• Implement quality standards and ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding safety and the environment
• Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure conformity of products and processes

Technological innovation and prototype development:

• Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in mechanical engineering to apply innovations in products and processes
• Prototype and test new designs and concepts to evaluate their feasibility and performance

Training and Professional Development:

• Participate in training and development programs to stay current in technical knowledge and skills
• Train work teams in the use of tools, processes and systems related to mechanical engineering

  Requirements:

  • Be able to live and work in Minnesota
  • Intermediate english speaking skills
  • Be under a TN Visa
  
  

  Compensation:

  • Hourly pay
  • Starting on $18.50 per hour
  • 55-60 total work paid hours
  • Transportation
