As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll join a small team of amazing engineers to collaboratively build the next generation of Underdog’s industry leading products!

What you’ll do:

• Write efficient, maintainable, well structured code (including, but not limited to the languages we support: Ruby, Typescript, C#, Swift, Kotlin)
• Design, develop and integrate automation solutions to minimize manual efforts for maximum productivity in the fields of build, release, test automation, monitoring, and compliance.
• Evaluate and evangelize solutions and provide suggestions to the team
• Document the systems you help build, monitor, and maintain
• Coordinate with product, design, and customer support to organize priorities
• Improve the scalability and performance our Fantasy and Sportsbook platforms

Who you are:

• Extremely comfortable around an IDE, containers, and deploying code in Kubernetes
• Experience with monoliths and microservices
• A strong written and verbal communicator
• Collaborative by nature, and passionate about fostering best practices for the betterment of the team
• Obsessed with scaling and improving the platform's performance
• Eager to test, track, and document your work
• A top-level problem solver who’s comfortable ideating and implementing solutions suggested by the team

Even better if you have…

• Experienced with relational databases
• Familiar with Typescript / React frontend, Native Mobile apps, and containerized infrastructures
