As a VP of Engineering, Sports Betting, reporting to the CTO, you will be helping us scale and build the foundational services supporting our sports betting product. As a leader, you will help build, scale and deliver top-tier products for your organization and department.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee a team responsible for delivering products that change and accelerate the fantasy sports industry, while focusing on driving key business metrics and KPIs
• Manage and grow a team of managers and individual contributors across technologies (iOS, Android, Web, and Backend)
• Provide coaching and leadership in software best practices
• Find and develop top quality engineering talent
• Collaborate closely with product and design on roadmap and delivery
• Be accountable for the technology strategy for an incredibly fast growing team
• Obsess over creating great user experiences
• Work with leadership to evolve the engineering organization within fantasy as it grows and matures
• Build a diverse team while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive environment

Who you are:

• 10+ year veteran of combined software development and management experience across multiple languages and frameworks
• Experienced manager of managers and staff engineers, with experience driving impact for an entire department
• Clear, concise, and strong communicator
• Strong mentor and leader, with a history of developing future leaders and strengthening organizations through coaching
• Experience with hyper growth including adapting strategies to accommodate changes in team size and structure

Even better if you have…

• Demonstrated passion for and/or extensive experience working in the dynamic domains of Sports Betting, Fantasy Sports, or closely related industries
• Managed an engineering org of over 50 individuals
