About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team at Unit21. Design and manage integrations: APIs, ETL pipelines, data ingestion, schema mapping, and validation
Configure the Unit21 platform to support AML and fraud workflows, detection logic, and reporting
Troubleshoot technical issues (data, API, configuration, performance) to keep projects on track
Deliver training and enablement sessions to ensure successful customer adoption
Partner with Customer Success Managers post-implementation to support strategic customer initiatives
Relay customer feedback and use cases while partnering Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities
Occasionally support Sales as a technical subject matter expert in demos and evaluations
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years in solutions engineering, implementation, technical account manager, or forward-deployed engineering roles in SaaS, FinTech, or RegTech

Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working with fintechs and traditional financial institutions strongly preferred
Domain knowledge in financial crime prevention, Fraud and AML, a plus
Compensation:
The standard base pay for this role is $140,000 Annually. This base pay range does not include variable compensation including potential commissions, bonuses or other financial or equity incentives.
