About the role 💭
As a Content Engineer, you'll spearhead our efforts in crafting compelling technical written content, playing a pivotal role in shaping our developer community's experience. You'll be instrumental in ensuring that our content educates and resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit technical content that educate and inspire our developer community, including blogs, whitepapers, tutorials, and case studies.
  • Be the voice of the engineering team and lead our engineering blog.
  • Collaborate with developer success to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise, and compelling content, including FAQs.
  • Provide guidance and develop self-serve resources to enable engineers to become stronger and more confident writers.
  • Contribute to our developer content strategy and brainstorm new ideas for videos, case studies, and other content formats.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools, and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
  • Stay up-to-date on the identity industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our content remains relevant and valuable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related technical field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in technical content writing for developer-focused audiences, with a demonstrated portfolio of engaging and informative content
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration and adaptability skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams especially engineering, product and developer success
  • Bonus: familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security or a related industry
