About the role 💭
WorkOS is a technical product made by developers, for developers. The Developer Success Engineering (DSE) team is critical to every step of the customer experience — from demoing to integration to ongoing support. The team is talking with developers, building developer relationships, and making the developer experience the best it can be. As a manager for the Developer Success team, you will help drive an amazing developer experience while customers integrate WorkOS. This role is best suited for someone who is technically-minded, empathetic, passionate, loves solving problem, and is team and results oriented.
Responsibilities ✔️
- Deliver a comprehensive customer experience for developers integrating WorkOS
- Recruit, coach, and support DSE who are focused on delivering a great customer experience
- Inspire, motivate and enable individual development of the team
- Help define vision and manage day-to-day operations
- Build processes to enable team members to work collaboratively, effectively, and efficiently
- Provide a healthy work environment that is supportive and challenging
- Work cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experience
Qualifications 🌟
- 2-3 years experience in a leadership position in technical support, solutions, or sales engineering
- Excited to help DSEs develop new skills and advance in their careers
- Understand what makes teams successful and what role a manager can play in that process
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Lead by example, by setting the right context, and by helping teammates do their best work
- Know when to let a team work through problems and when to jump in to help
- Technical enough to ask engineers good questions about design and integration decisions
- Quick learner and relentlessly inquisitive
The annual US salary falls within the range of $150,000 to $165,000. This range does not encompass the full spectrum of benefits such as equity, health insurance, vacation time, and paid parental leave. The final compensation will be determined considering various factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
