About the role:

We are expanding our team dedicated to B2B sales for our LLM-focused search and news RAG API offerings. As a Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in prospecting API customer opportunities, garnering interest in our solutions, and securing customers to drive scalable B2B revenue for YOU.com. You will be the first point of contact, fostering strong business relationships and managing the entire sales cycle. Successful candidates will be creative, energetic, and strategic lead generators and deal closers with a passion for innovation and experience in:

What you’ll do:

  • Develop enterprise customer/partner targets, securing interest, and nurturing relationships with relevant entities in API integrations and search engine/app distribution to grow You.com revenue and users for You.com’s properties.

  • Manage enterprise sales/partnership cycles from initial contact and pitching to negotiation, deal closing, and post-agreement follow-up to maximize partner alignment.

  • Utilize market and competitor research to identify trends within our industry and leverage this information to enact strategies and formulate proposals for viable partners/customers.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders like product, marketing, and legal teams to ensure agreements are aligned with our company objectives.

  • Meet and exceed revenue and user acquisition goals set by the company, staying ahead of key performance indicators, and conducting team presentations.

  • Track, report, and analyze performance data to provide actionable insight.

What you need:

  • 2-4+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales, closing complex sales cycles

  • Success in selling a disruptive product to an unexpected buyer

  • Ideal candidates will bring a personal network of potential customers/partners they can leverage.

  • Experience in API sales, AI/LLMs, and search products is strongly preferred but is not necessarily required. We value team members who are quick to learn and think differently.
