Your Role
At Zip, we’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Office Manager (part-time, contract) to ensure our Toronto team has an incredible office experience, so they can do their best work. We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas to life to welcome new team members, keep our office tidy and organized, plan local events, determine ways to improve our processes, and support our Toronto IT onboarding work stream.
You Will
Organize our office and ensure it is tidy and welcoming, so team members can do their best work
Manage our office budget
Develop and execute surprise and delight moments and events for our team members
Serve as a pivotal member of our culture champion committee who brings to life milestone moments and heritage months in our offices
Support our IT team on new hire laptop/IT needs
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence regarding our office
Coordinate with building management and external vendors for maintenance and repairs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
Qualifications
Ability to be in office
Organized and detail-oriented; able to develop and execute the strategy for our workspace
Experience organizing fun and engaging events
Self-motivated
Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Spreadsheets)
Nice to Haves
Experience as an office manager, educator/tutor/au pair, university club leader, onboarding specialist
