About Zip
Here at Zip, we're reimagining how modern businesses function in the age of AI. The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.
Our co-founders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly universal problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 5 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and JPMorgan Chase rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.
We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!
Please note we're looking for someone who is willing and able to come into either our downtown New York on a hybrid basis (3 days /week).
Your Role
As a Product Manager on the Intake and Collaboration team, you will shape how work enters Zip and how users collaborate around it – from AI-powered intake and self-service configuration to chat, notifications, mobile, and Slack/Teams integrations. You will define the experience layer that makes participation seamless for requesters, infrequent users, and off-platform collaborators.
You Will
Drive development across the breadth of Intake and Collaboration, building intelligent intake systems and defining core collaboration primitives – including commenting, notifications, and messaging integrations – across web, mobile, and external surfaces.
Collaborate deeply with engineering and design to define requirements, provide product direction, make tradeoffs, and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade participation experiences.
Conduct structured product discovery, including stakeholder interviews, competitive research, usage analysis, and usability testing to identify friction points in first-time and infrequent user experiences.
Test, validate, and measure success using well-defined metrics such as intake quality, user activation, engagement across surfaces, and reduction in support or rework.
Your Qualifications
2-4+ years of product management and 4-8+ years of overall professional experience; experience working with SaaS platforms is a plus.
Ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured components and develop clear recommendations.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across engineering, design, sales, customer teams, and partner teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and level of detail to diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
Bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
