Sr. Manager, Value Analytics
Cedar
Our healthcare system is the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the U.S. Every year, over 50 million Americans suffer adverse financial consequences as a result of seeking care, from lower credit scores to garnished wages. The challenge is only getting worse, as high deductible health plans are the fastest growing plan design in the U.S.
Cedar’s mission is to leverage data science, smart product design and personalization to make healthcare more affordable and accessible. Today, healthcare providers still engage with its consumers in a “one-size-fits-all” approach; and Cedar is excited to leverage consumer best practices to deliver a superior experience.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Values Analytics to lead the charge in quantifying and articulating the value our platform delivers across the healthcare revenue cycle. You will be responsible for defining the values analytics strategy, building a high-performing team, and delivering data-driven insights that inform our strategic decisions and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the values analytics roadmap, defining key metrics and reporting frameworks that measure the success and value of our products and services, particularly within the RCM domain.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of value analytics personnel, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and high performance. Advocate for analytical tools and process adoption as we build out more sophisticated products to service clients.
- Advanced Analytics: Oversee the development of complex analytical models and analyses to identify trends, predict outcomes, and provide actionable insights into revenue cycle performance, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders across product, operations, and commercial strategy to understand business needs and translate them into analytical projects. Present findings in a clear, compelling manner that drives business decisions.
- Data Governance & Platforms: Collaborate with Data Platform teams to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and reliability of data necessary for value analytics. Advocate for scalable analytics infrastructure.
- Insight Narrative & Visualization: Create compelling narratives and visualizations that translate complex RCM data into persuasive, strategic stories for executives and partners to showcase the value Cedar delivers to our clients and stakeholders.

- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a people-management role, leading and developing a team of data professionals.
- Strategic mindset paired with storytelling muscle—comfortable moving between technical depth and executive-level narrative
- Ability to challenge status-quo thinking and bring structure to ambiguity—especially when navigating complex enterprise client relationships
- Demonstrable background and deep expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), with a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the healthcare billing and collections process.
